I’ve literally started an open data set of all the Lower Mainland shootings (complete with Calendar View). I was getting annoyed at not being able to see a complete view of what’s going on. https://www.notion.so/robinmonks/0da991652caa406f9a38015ffecfd65f?v=d60241b8721343698a4a6a17123c89e7
There's this very extensive list, and there's also the r/HololiveSubs wiki page.
This is a commonly requested feature and they've dropped some hints it's coming soon:

In terms of creating a fleshed out main character, this may be a good place to start. I think using this to create a character in coherence with your world will be useful.
There might be some things I've missed/overlooked. If people enjoy this and think of some more things to include, I will make an updated version.
edit: Now that this post has gotten popular, I kind of wish I hadn't made this in MS Paint.
Another thing people have said is that this isn't a mind map but a mind cloud which is correct.
People have also stated that I organized things poorly, and to that I have one thing to say: yeah you're right.
My only real aim was to get people thinking about character motivation, not a step by step guide on to create a character. That being said, /u/RazomOmega and /u/ThatFanficGuy have both formatted and categorized my points much better here and here.
Glad I helped some people with their creativity, feel free to crosspost this to relevant subreddits.
Unironically I wrote a short noncommerical "How to get started on a dirt bike" article for a moto discord

Hey everyone,
I am so excited to finally get my app out to you all.
You can download it here.
For those who haven’t heard of the app, it is a companion for Mario Kart Tour, similar to some spreadsheet trackers like Bam and Gerb’s DKG Tracker. Currently, the app is only available on iOS (14.0+).
You can import your data by scanning screenshots from Mario Kart Tour and the app will show you recommendations for the current tour, some basic coverage information (more coming soon), and has more small features (e.g. you can search for drivers with a specific trait). The screenshots the app supports are either from the detail page of every card or from the „Got it“ screen whenever you do a pipe pull, buy a card in the shop, etc.
If you are wondering why it took so long, I was waiting for my approval in the apple developer small business program and Apple took a lot longer than I anticipated. But fortunately, I was approved last weekend and I am happy to finally release the app.
I would also like to thank all of my beta testers. You were a huge help to improve the app and get it to where it is today. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
If you find any bugs or have some ideas to improve the app, I would love to hear them. Please check the FAQ to see if I might already be working on it and to find my contact information (bottom of the page).
Also if you like the app it would be a huge help if you could leave a positive review in the AppStore and recommend it to your friends.
I hope you all enjoy the app and hope it helps you in the upcoming tours. If you have feedback, thoughts, or questions, let me know in the comments or check the FAQ. I am always happy to answer questions and hear what you guys think.
Am I missing something? No offense, but aren't these are all just standard options in Notion - full page calendar and filtered gallery views?
To the commenters, you don't need to wait for a template or ask for "new features"... Notion has already done it for you... type "/calendar" and you got it.
Notion's own help and support page (https://www.notion.so/Help-Support-e040febf70a94950b8620e6f00005004) tells you how to do all of this (including majority of everything else posted in this sub).
This is true for most of the brokers though. However, I really hope that doesn't dissuade people from going forward with signing up and moving. If Robinhood will do this to you now, they'll do it to you in the future. I really hope everyone signs up for Tasty, Fidelity or literally anything else. I would really lean towards Fidelity, considering they had no hiccups with what was going on and are self clearing.
/u/alexsmith2332 compiled a really great list here of some popular options with the highlights. At this point, I don't really care what broker people switch to, I just REALLY hope they switch.
I mean, I think it goes without saying that NFTs are absolutely fucking moronic, but I think this is a new low for milking money out of fans for something they don't even own.
With all due respect, seems like something for support/sales at Notion: https://www.notion.so/contact-sales
It seems pretty clear to me that something is "wrong", but no idea what. Perhaps someone entered the Belgian tax rate incorrectly.
Quite enjoyed this. Classic and timeless sales techniques. I’m a geek so here are the main points outlined in my notes. Feel free to save/duplicate this for yourself
I'd highly recommend https://www.notion.so
For your purposes it would be completely free and doesn't just about everything you want (except reminders but I don't think any wiki has that). It has web interface / ios / android and more.
I've been using it for a few months and love it!

A couple things for anyone interested:
You could always bug the Notion team with this design concept, which not only fixes that issue, it also adds an additional feature to group database properties together

Hahahah. I used only Lightroom
And after I worked with the tones curve. Once the exposure was fixed, I worked on the colors. :)
If you are interested some time ago I wrote about my Workflow: Workflow in Lightroom
Seems like someone beat me to it already but yeah there is the list of recommended translation channels that has a lot of translators that are for the most part trusted in one way or another.
Very recommended to save this list
Thank you mate! Some time ago I did a guide on editing with the same technique, the process is the same so take a look here (Pink Vibes, Tutorial)
In this case I have not changed the tones of the photo much, the photos were taken at dawn I only worked on the hsl, very little calibration (maximum 10 points per value) and no split toning.
If you have any other questions I am available :)
If you like a list of trusted translators, here are some links: https://www.reddit.com/r/HololiveSubs/wiki/index https://www.notion.so/7f8ca4d7cdb84730a1ff11a1ded08709?v=6e5a840952024335b3bd493fe9d91c6a
Hey kid, I am so sorry to hear about your situation. I do know a cool free food blog hosted by /u/tubularjohnny. It has some stuff that will be able to give you something for a bit. Also, I don't want to plug myself, but I made a list of free food resources available online for a side project that I have been doing on and off over the course of two years. You can find that list here; some of the offers are a bit dated, but you will definitely be able to find some good stuff in there as well.
AFAIK they are more in a "Decent" category, their translations may not always be accurate or show the full context but there's no malice or twist into their own perception of the subject. I do know there is this list https://www.notion.so/7f8ca4d7cdb84730a1ff11a1ded08709?v=6e5a840952024335b3bd493fe9d91c6a of trusted clippers, but as the site says itself just because a clipper isn't there it doesn't means they're one of the bad ones, so check comments if there is any japanese speaker clarifying.
Honestly if you're just clipping the EN girls there's really not much to fuck up. As long as you don't cut the clip out of context to paint a completely different picture from what was originally said. Great editing is always appreciated though.
The reason why clippers generally get called out is because of bad practices like not sourcing videos, bad translations, and refusal to accept feedback. The last two being especially crucial if you're translating more serious clips.
That said, if you're planning to do JP->EN translations I do suggest that you join the general HoloFan Discord where you can give and receive feedback for your translations.
Also do take note of Cover's clipping guidelines. They should be very easy to follow.
Download the installer and WeatherWalls from the Notion page.
I listened to your feedback as a lot of smaller device users had low quality images. That should be fixed now.
Oh and yes, there is a new variation!
Some asked me for my PayPal info to buy me a coffee. I made a link: paypal.me/WeatherWalls.
I find it helpful to think of it as a permanent work in progress. My Mind Forest is organic and the way I use it changing all the time. Right now I'm in the middle of converting all my tags to pages (don't ask why) and that process is going to take a couple of months and THAT'S OK.
I'd advise a couple of things:
1 - Design a framework that is simple and adaptable over time
2 - Build in a 'resurfacing system' so that revisiting your notes and adapting them over time is an EXPECTED part of your system. I've been doing that for almost a year now and it's the core of all my notes now.
3 - Allocate a time every week or month where you plan to revisit your system and make changes and DON'T make those changes until that time. Just make a note of them and wait. That way you don't get so distracted with changing the system when you should be using it.
4 - Have fun. If you aren't enjoying it, don't do it. :)
i use notion but i use my own template, i don't think buying a template is the best idea because 1, it costs money, 2, everybody organizes stuff a bit differently, what i would do is go here https://www.notion.so/Notion-Template-Gallery-181e961aeb5c4ee6915307c0dfd5156d#f9e4fe594df4435e9dcf3573377b9e3b and take inspiration and spend a few hours making your own space, i did that last semester and it helped me a lot, for me handling deadlines is always an issue so i just had a big list of all assignments/quizzes/tests on my main page and that way i could easily see what needed to be done.
Or, you could find a DD post and click on the yellow DD flair and use that to search the DD on the subreddit.

On the international side, yes there are legal hurdles. These are solvable but require some real investment.
In terms of creating the product, the regulatory and legal frameworks and structures were the most painful aside from all the obvious challenges that traditionally come with building an app or a business.
So i've just come off the PoolTogether community call and found out about the Polygon pod tokens 'liquidity bridge' feature and my mind is fucking blown. As self professed by Brendan (lead dev of PT) though, this is pretty experimental.
But why is this cool?
There is now a token on Polygon (sidechain / commit chain), that provides direct access to the liquidity in a mainnet ethereum contract. Whaaaaa?!? I didnt know this was a thing! You can own a Pod share on polygon and be eligible for the mainnet reward if the Pool draws the pod as its weekly winner. Without ever having to touch Ethereum.
This is what we have been waiting for. Ethereum mainnet and L2s/sidechains will meld together and interlink through the power of tokens and their contracts. I used to think of mainnet and the L2s as completely separate entities. "You have tokens on Ethereum and you have 'equivalent' tokens on the L2s, and you need to bridge them."
To an extent this will be true. But what PoolTogether Pod tokens are demonstrating is that you can have a token that is specifically designed to be its own bridge into mainnet liquidity. 🤯
Hi, All!

In case any one else is looking for the list.
Long distance is tough and sometimes you run out of things to talk about. So I made a Notion page with over 40 things we can do together, each with a thumbnail, description (with little jokes and added bits about us) and links to anything that might be useful.
To make choosing easier and avoid always choosing the same ones and getting bored of them, we use random.org to choose a random number for which one to do.
I made a template with most of our personal parts taken out for you to use and build upon yourself https://www.notion.so/benwtks/4e17dfb474274cde84a477732f763f7f?v=dcb02713611b486498415aed849d06f6
I have collected loads of examples of time trackers to fit your personality here: https://www.notion.so/d3f534e55c2b4c9eba33f2026eb52f69?v=6bc1de79e5a54630abce8f0344c90460&p=4ac238350d9c49e89e261e53b6a9c3d5
Note: I have a selection of my templates and case studies on a notion website. Just keep in mind that those are passive resources. I add resources and reading lists to get up to speed on self publishing, but I am NOT a writing coach or an editor or anything more than an organized scribbling introvert who is willing to share some stuff with the writing community. I don't shoot the shit 1:1 in DMs but I will answer questions in this post.
Take my musings with whatever grain of salt you want. https://www.notion.so/Author-Templates-Case-Studies-f2ec307f621343ca8f76569a3d3d1015
Man. This is a hard one.
One strategy I’ve taken is to actually ask someone to do the code review with me over a screen share meeting. Sometimes after they (or I) left the comments and sometimes before. It can help both people see where the other is coming from and sometimes “save face”. It also makes it hard to “hide” behind the PR comment process to passive aggressively leave nit picky comments. It opens up more open communication so that there can be more understanding instead of competition.
It’s also helpful to discuss what is or isn’t a nit pick and when something should or shouldn’t be reviewed. (Eg https://www.notion.so/How-to-do-Code-Reviews-1c33cbf7597a4d61aeb3905b86844baf)
Having said that, if someone’s feedback is good, it might be best to just go along with their feedback for a while and prove your it’s not a battle to get you to accept their feedback just because you don’t like it. Then when you do push back they won’t be as threatened. It really all depends on the situation.
Yes! Tons of updates!
> 1) Is there a way to easily swap out exercises in the recommended routine? (i.e. instead of picking the squat progression picking the step up progression which is given as an alternative)
Yes, all alternatives should now be there.
> 2) In Custom Workouts, is it possible to copy a whole routine over to then edit?
No, unfortunately this was a tiny bit complicated, but the editor has been improved so you can build routines faster (You can duplicate rests + exercises)
> 3) In Custom Workouts is it possible to add levels/progressions and pair exercises like in the recommended routine? Or could something similar to how the recommended routine is presented be achieved by making your own routine?
It is now possible to add progressions from the built-in progressions. Paired exercises are still not possible. You can also now build your own programs (sets of routines).
My main efforts since you tried it were getting a functional iOS and Android app working + some more social features. Customization is an ongoing effort since it's quite tough to build those features.
I've also shifted focus to building features on mobile, since that's what most people want.

Yes, do make Twines and visual novels. I hired a narrative designer because of their Twine project. It's a great way to showcase your work. But any kind of game will do.
I'm looking for narrative designers myself. When hiring, my priorities are:
So it depends on what games you want to make. What games do you like? What do you like outside of games? What companies would you like to work for? If you went indie, what game would you make? You need to find this out about yourself, and you find it out by making things. Fortunately, that's how you improve the quality of your work too.
Let me know if you have any questions.

The DF64 has been great for me but a word of warning, it's not perfect out of the box. If you really want to get the most out of it, you have to be willing to do a little work.
The tldr is it's a great grinder but it doesn't have the UX of the niche and if you really want to get the best performance out of it, you may have to tweak a couple things.

Notion. Best productivity app I've ever discovered.
Web app, Microsoft app, and mobile app. Has a free version just for one person, but teams are also available too.
A bit like a to-do list on steroids, but don't in a simplified way (think ToDoist). You can created your own workspaces, then create different "boards" within these workspaces. These boards can take the form of a Kanban board, a table, a to-do list, a calendar, a blog post, etc. as well as a combo of these.
Just try the free version for a few days and see for yourself.
I agree, but you can opt out of Notion's tracking/analytics and I would absolutely recommend doing that.

I don't know of a channel that has actually purposely mistranslated clips. There's plenty of badly translated clips, and sometimes people will post fake and slanderous translations in chat, but those tend to be incredibly obvious.
People think channels like OtakMori and HLM are the exception, but most fansub channels actually aren't very good. It's faster just to list recommended channels than to list ones to avoid.
Also, I think maybe people are missing the point to critiquing fansub channels. The point is that translators are just people, and the fandom has been treating them like gods for too long. And just like we should be looking at fansubs critically, we should be thinking about lists of recommended channels critically as well.
Neither the @GoodVtuberSubs nor the r/HololiveSubs lists should be seen as official or comprehensive lists. They're subject to bias and criticism as much as the translations they check. Just because they're on those lists doesn't mean you should blindly trust them.
The point is that we need look at all translations critically, even from people that seemingly everyone trusts. We need to have some standards.
To be honest, I watch a lot of French Canadian TV, while I learned "French" French, it's just a bit of an accent to get used to and a few different words here and there. It frankly is not worth going out of your way for if you're a beginner. You're really going to learn more if you focus on learning French than learning dialects and accents, especially in the beginning.
But if you insist, here's a list of some resources that's been shared on this sub before, but I am not sure about what level it is:

Here's a crowdsourced directory of Black and African type designers that will hopefully help you find what you're looking for. I think you need to have a Notion account to view it?

Hey everyone! I've been working on a project to make game NPCs powered by OpenAI's GPT3.
All conversations (and voices) are dynamically generated by AI, and I'll be soon re-adding the feature that lets the player start or join in any conversation w/ NPCs.
My goal is to try and fundamentally improve our interaction with NPCs in games, and give them the ability to be more than a fancy backdrop. I want them to have stats, professions, relationships, and completing quests on their own, in a systematic and dynamic way.
It's definitely optimistic but here are my thoughts on what NPCs could be and I've been trying to work towards it slowly but surely: https://www.notion.so/Game-AI-NPC-Systems-ff773c41bcb74af5867b538db421a9bf

Try Notion (https://www.notion.so). It’s free with an education account, has waaaaaaaay more flexibility/customizability than onenote and is actually very reliable too.
I started using it as an M4 and created illness scripts that are tagged by organ systems, related problems, etc. it makes searching for problems and reviewing my notes a breeze
Majority of the write up and summary/main points is here (if you want to save a click) with further links inside.
I'm reading through the related links. Does this one work for others? Link. All the others I've opened work so far.
I use Notion using Sly Flourish's Lazy campaign template as a base and then customising it greatly to my own tastes.

It has been serving me very well indeed. I actually feel organised for once in my planning and world building.
Y a aucune grosse marque je crois, je pense pas que ça va inciter à grand chose du coup. Surtout si c'est qu'au niveau de la France, il faut au moins le niveau européen pour faire bouger les choses.
Work out what you want to do with it and build it one page at a time. Don't try and build everything at once or you will be overwhelmed. The great thing about the flexibility of Notion is that you can get to a point where you think 'I really wish it could do X' and then you can go research X and add X into your system where it fits best for you. Search for specific functions on Youtube when you need to, but don't expect to use it all at once. Also, you can move any database or page into another page, so don't worry too much about where it all goes for now. Keep things as simple as you can in the knowledge you can add more complicated ideas later.
There are loads of templates out there, but I'd say just use them for inspiration. See how they work and then build your own thing yourself. That way you'll understand how it works for you.
I started with one database. That database still exists, but it's nothing like what I started with. And I've loads of other pages and databases that I have built bit by bit, as the need has arisen. I am not a technical person, but I've been able to access Notion and build things I would never be able to do in other systems.
If you are a student, I'd recommend that after a couple of months of use you build in a resurfacing system so that old notes can be brought up again and added to. That's how the brain works, building and refining ideas over a long time. You can take a look at the system I use here (general notes, not specific study), if you're interested: https://www.notion.so/818782f2ff0f44ccbc5941e3fd4d0cd0?v=3badd8762a2f424189dc13c6f4f11539
First and foremost; I would not recommend go back to school as working experience is more valued in PM line.
You might want to leverage the B.S. In Health, find an opening as APM (Associate PM), Junior PM or start with BA(Biz Analyst) in a company/industry that related to Health. Then you can learn by working with existing PMs in that company before switching to full-time PM yourself.
Here is recent post on why BA is best way to break into PM: https://www.reddit.com/r/ProductManagement/comments/nhzrm7/one_way_to_get_into_product_management_is_by/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
Can I ask why you're interested to go into PM? Might be a good step to read more about PM first, just to ensure you get the accurate picture and if this is a good fit for you.
Here is my curated PM articles. Please filter it by APM and "Job Description" or "Basic Skills": https://www.notion.so/9ecd35d650f54ce1952846fc83ab2df1?v=3c7e6d85edd049f0bae68e0a0e9f7e47

Here are my notes that i made for my prep. It has notes from bioninja, the textbook and class. There is everything except DNA translation. Hope this helps anyone who needs it! :)
Note: I have split apart some of the topics and combined them such as cell respiration is both 2.8 and 8.2 together cause it flowed better for me.
I will always stan Notion. It's an extremely flexible productivity tool. Everything is either a page (for flexibility and custom layouts) or a table (for systematic organization). So I have a table of my courses, linked to my table of tasks (every task is part of a course), and each task has a type (HW, Exam, etc.) I then have a page to see this clearly in different ways with different filters. Also pages are highly formattable, so they're great for note-taking if you want that. There's a Desktop and mobile app so you can take it anywhere.
Honestly you can use Notion for everything in your life, from your daily journal to a weekly budget sheet. There are a bunch of templates ready-to-use so you don't have to worry about designing your own pages and tables. Also it's completely free.
risk of rain 2 and firewatch are mentioned here but not sure how well they work. I'd definitely like to know if anyone has had success with Firewatch.
Here is the template link for you to try out: https://www.notion.so/harshi/08da12b6b34847df960830d2d25ae699?v=98e39665fd0a437e9af712738321cc42

I've already found some cool stuff in here, like how to put columns in toggles and templates https://www.notion.so/Columns-in-toggles-template-buttons-df1c667e68324e00a322fd6102dba917
Also "This page was last updated `@now`" at the end of the main help page is real nice. It's something I'm going to start using in certain places to keep track of when I last edited things.
I like maintaining a checklist. I find it's the easiest way to ensure I don't miss anyone / mix up which episodes I have or haven't watched c:
Notion is far from perfect but so far it's the most flexible in terms of customization and how I want to set things up

ps. if yall want to change the color scheme, i found all these images from pinterest. even for gifs on monthly database - it was easy. just find something you like and then go through the related images and collect some. aesthetic images x color kinda search also helps. maybe change howl to another anime character that has the vibe of your color and type your new color to the unsplash search bar too lol.

Yep! Plenty more out there. That covers beef, I'll look more for rewilding though the literature in those sources do support rewilding as well versus the Eurocentric neo-pioneer stuff.
And on Allan savory, more stuff:
/u/paulwheaton didn't mention him but the grass fed 'holistic farm' pastoral approach is also widely pioneered to a wacky, extremist figure, Joel Salatan of Polyface Farms. Plenty of drama there as well but the pastoral movement has never been in sync with science or "nice" sides of things.
Determine your goal. You don't really have to focus on Mandarin just because it's hip with China's rising and hoobaloo. Are you planning to work in international relations or in a business that's heavily tied to China? Is there some aspect of Chinese history/society/culture you'd want to immerse yourself? Personal reasons maybe, like friends and family you'd like to connect with?
Pretty much the same questions for any language. Grad studies abroad? What country/ies -- what language(s).
You have to think through the reasons why you're learning because you need to live the language to learn it. Unless you're gifted, you'll need to talk to people in that language, listen to songs in that language, read news in that language, etc. Occasionally, you'll find yourself cursing in that language too. Basically, it's a commitment.
But if you're just looking for fun, learning-languages for learning-languages's sake, you can do elementary courses / self-study naman on a wide range of languages, up to the point maybe where you can introduce yourself and talk about your hobbies, likes/dislikes. Be a jack-of-all-trades, and when you've come to like a language, sort of *click* with it, master it. Why not try learning local languages too? How about Latin? Latin is good to pick up as a bridge to modern European (Romance) languages.
> The Confucius Institute at UPD offers free Mandarin courses for UPD students. (Unfortunately the deadline for the new cycle was yesterday.)
> The UP Department of Linguistics offers extramural courses on Asian languages too.
> Sadly, the extramural courses for European languages are still suspended.
We aren't completely sure yet, though we do know that the Electro Archon has the ability to at least halt Visions being given. There's a lot of language that seems to suggest that it needs approval from the gods beyond the Archons.
Here's a comprehensive writeup on all we know about Visions so far (Inazuma spoilers); https://www.notion.so/khaenriah/All-About-Visions-5e649279fe504dabbcb4bd267ed4f53a
I have a book that may help you out! Google Return of the Lazy Dungeon Master. In it I offer an eight-step guide for preparing for a game. You can see the free preview with the eight steps here:

As for what notes look like, I have a Notion notebook you can check out with all of the session notes for my Eberron campaign:
https://www.notion.so/Session-Notes-40b3ceee833d424ba3ba7d47f69186a6
That can give you an idea of what I went into the session with.
As others mentioned, the key for many is to have what you need to have on hand so you can move freely as the game goes in whatever direction it goes when you run it. This is less about preparing a plot or preparing for every possible action of the players and instead preparing what you need to "cook at the table".
Hope that helps!
I understand your concern and was a bit worried too. However, have you seen their AMA, white paper, the external audit?
Take a look for yourself and decide. We only want educated buyers, not emotional.
Btw those aren’t bots, I’m in the telegram chat and they’re just reposting something someone else wrote. Not bots, just passionate ppl who aren’t very good at expressing their passion for this project.

Hi guys.
I wrote a short guide to investing in crypto for the complete novice, but need more Karma to post.
Let me know what you think of it :).
I saw a couple posts today from students who had issues staying organized, and were generally feeling lost after the first week. I can deeply empathize with this, so that's why I wanted to share my tools and strategies for keeping up with the influx of information that seem to be burying us.
Welcome to my productivity center: Notion. I've posted images of my "hub", which essentially acts my student homepage. Everything here is completely customizable - you pick and choose what goes where.
At the top, I have access to quick links that I frequently access. below that, I have a quick summary of extra-curricular events that I signed up for (linked to my google calendar). To the right, a weather widget and links to each of the courses I am taking this semester.
Below my weekly class schedule is my "master schedule" - a listing of every single assignment, lab, quiz, and exam I have this semester. I can sort class, due date, etc. I can even view it in calendar mode, so I can visually see what is coming up next.
I think half of the stress most of us experience is the worry that something is due soon, and trying to remember what it is. By dumping all the due dates into a list that is easy to digest, I essentially offload all that information so I can focus on actually doing work. Notion is free for students, and is but one of many productivity tools.
Edit: for those interested, here is the template I based mine off of: https://www.notion.so/Degree-Name-7155be3c3f234c1298577b183ba183f8
Humanising business communication has always been a major part of brand, marketing and advertising strategies. We're much more likely to purchase products and services from a company if we can see the people working in it, rather than the entity as just, "a company", or just a thing.
The emoji trend is just a contemporary version of this overarching idea of humanisation. Personally as long as it's done tastefully and clearly is part of the websites tone of voice then I don't mind—like this digital workspace service https://www.notion.so/product
